Amisha Pandey
Amisha Pandey is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. Over the past 3 years, she has gained extensive experience working across a broad range of psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, neurodevelopmental and personality disorders. Her practice draws on evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ERP, with focused expertise in treating OCD. She is skilled in addressing various subtypes such as contamination fears and checking compulsions.
As her work continues to evolve, Amisha has been integrating relational and psychodynamic perspectives into her practice, deepening her attunement to the emotional and interpersonal dynamics that unfold in the therapy room. She sees therapy not simply as a place for skills training, but as a shared relational space where healing unfolds through safety, presence, and exploration. She is deeply attuned to her clients’ emotional landscapes, and helps them make sense of recurring relational patterns, unresolved grief, or unmet needs that often underlie present-day struggles. Her approach honours the conscious and unconscious forces that shape our inner lives. In line with this deepening interest, she presented “Rupture and Repair in Therapy: Navigating Challenges to Strengthen the Therapeutic Alliance” at an international conference, an experience that further enriched her understanding of the transformative potential held within the therapeutic relationship.
In addition to addressing symptoms, Amisha supports clients in exploring broader existential questions around identity, meaning, mortality, and personal responsibility. Drawing on humanistic and existential ideas, she helps clients reconnect with their values and discover what it means to live authentically. Her professional philosophy is grounded in the belief that healing is a deeply personal and relational journey. She offers a psychotherapeutic space that is both structured and fluid, where clients are met with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to helping them grow not just beyond their problems, but toward their whole, authentic selves.
