About Us
The Grey Circle aims at improving the awareness of mental health needs, enhancement of existing levels of professional competence, and increasing access to quality mental health care.
Our Thought
As depicted by our name, we believe that mental health, or the lack thereof, does not exist in black and white. Mental health encompasses an entire spectrum of needs and difficulties, manifest in levels of distress.
A circle, being a symbol of healing, also denotes a self-sustaining system through which these mental health needs stand addressed.
The circle of care begins with the recognition that mental health, and subsequently psychological distress, is an integral part of the experience of being human. An increased focus on self-regulation, including an awareness of indicators of sub-optimal functioning and normalization of help-seeking, is required for leading a healthy and engaged life.
The circle continues with the undeniable reality that there exists a wide gap between those seeking care and those qualified to provide it. A crucial requirement of our times, we enhance the existing levels of professional competence of “first-responders” to those in need of care.
Our endeavour is to provide easy accessibility and provision of quality mental health care to the community, thus completing this circle of care. Our services highlight the idea that the experience of psychological distress is an innately human experience and seeking professional help for it thus, needn’t be limited to sterile clinical environments.
